The Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement connects individuals and groups with local service opportunities. On-going or one-time events can be arranged. The office also sponsors all campus service events open to anyone in the Transylvania University community. The community service work study program is coordinated through this office.

The Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement also assists with student organizations devoted to service including Alternative Spring Break, First Year Urban Program, Circle K, and others.
